Message	like a dashpot, but with polyurethane. That would maintain the urethane for damping, provide far better anchoring, and resist shear forces. Looking at Bernies picture, it looks like these failed from twisting. As the motor tried to move forward and back, the retainer tab hit the loop causing a twisting of the mount.
